7/21, Howard and Kathy King went to Connecticut, to finally meet and get to hold their new Great Granddaughter Carter Leigh Mulville, and enjoyed a nice visit and supper with Carter’s mother Denielle Gamelin, Grandmother Leslie Gamelin, Aunt Devon Gamelin, and Kathy’s daughter Lori Young, granddaughter Michelle Young, and Great Grand Children Morgan and Cameron Young. Then Howard and Kathy went to New Rochelle, N.Y. to daughter Lisa and son-in-law Anthony Sebastino. Their daughter Sarah Sebastino and Joe Simpson were wedding. It was a beautiful wedding with many family members. On Saturday they visited more family and friends before coming home on Sunday.

7/26, IT’S 95% DONE!!! Maggie Elkins lives beside the Fuller Bridge and wanted to tidy up around it, so she went and got some paint and called on me to help her; we scraped the guard rail and put new paint on that. Then the white boards on the bridge were very dirty and she fixed up her water hoses and she washed them down, I scraped and washed the boards with a cleanser where they were stained. We later painted all the white where we could reach. We had an offer from a volunteer to do the high parts for us and we said “YES” as we were anxious to get it completed. (A VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR VOLUNTEER!) This side going up the hill is done and the other side we have someone that said he will finish the side, coming into the Village.

7/26, While I was out walking my little pooch Willee, Scott and Tosca Smith stopped by and we had a chat. They were enjoying their ride in a green Volkswagen that Scott and son Calvin had built. Tosca said that it’s a “Love Bug” we are falling in love all over again. That’s great!!! We never know what will spark that fire in us. Then on August 9 they will take their daughter Sadie to Eckerd College in St.Petersburg. Florida to start her college years. (Best of Luck Sadie)
