News from Montgomery [11.6.16]

Written by Lois Lumbra – Its getting late, and already getting dark at 4:30, seems weird for the first few days after the time change. It was a busy weekend for my neighbor Michelle Legault as she had a “barn cleanout sale” she had some help from her friends and parents. A good job well done by all and Michelle is VERY THANKFUL for all the help. All the free left over’s were left beside the driveway and little by little its disappearing. In spite of the wet weather the show must go on and it did.

Reports of deer taken at Sticks Country Store by local youth are, Jacob Barnes a doe 114 lbs; Colby Pattee a 7 pointer 186 lbs; Jonas Lagasse a spike horn 102 lbs; Carter Blaney a doe 70 lbs; Langdon and Evan Hazen 80 lbs. and one 90 lbs. Sounds like these young hunters had a nice weekend!!
