8/27..What happened to all that sunshine that was seen on the radar, we have had more clouds than sunshine and that coooool north breeze keeps us shivering, unless we wrap up in our warm fleece. Have you noticed the trees are turning their Fall colors already. As I look out our front doors the soft maples are turning colors. This week schools are reopening. Doesn’t seem possible the summer flew by!!! There was eleven vendors that showed up this Saturday at the Farmers Market. Lots of nice veggies coming in, its hard to say what is doing great as there have been so many things and this Saturday will be a big weekend as it’s a holiday. Remember the Farmer’s Market will go through September each Saturday, 9a-1 p.m.

8/21.. This was the day that got everyone excited to watch the eclipse. Sonny watched most of it here at our home and I watched most of it on TV. There were many new babies born, one little girl got the name of Eclipse, marriages and whatever people wanted to do, as I saw on TV news. It was exciting to many.

***I saw a donkey cross the highway, he looked both ways, What a smart ass.** This is the last column for this month, seems like we just turned the calendar. Our son wrote to me and I quote what he said. “Time has a way of passing us by, like water in a brook, always on the go and never looking back.” Have a nice week and God Bless!! M.L.T.A.
