2/25..The weather man was quite accurate in his predictions for today. When I first went out this morning it was breezy at 7 a.m. Then at Church time the weather got rowdy with freezing rain and later turned to snow, back to freezing rain. It has been one of those days to stay inside and have a nice nap. We had a small attendance at Church today, we had our Annual 2017 Reports meeting following the Worship time and then we had a breakfast brunch. YUMMY!!

2/20.. I talked with Lorraine St.Onge today, she was out shopping when she answered her cell phone. She said they were having temperatures in the 80’s. The next day 2/21 we had a few hours of 70 degrees, that was fantastic. The snow banks got melted down enough so that I could go out on the park and get the solar Christmas lights off the 6 cedar trees. That temp did not last very long as the temperature started falling throughout the afternoon and the next morning we were down to 28. While I was talking with Lorraine she told me she had enjoyed her visits from Artie, Randy and grandson Thomas.

2/22..The Nimble Thimble Quilting Circle met at the home of Sue Peters. The ladies that came all brought their sandwich/salad so they could all enjoy lunch together and hang out before getting into sewing. They had planned to make pot holders and microwave bowl holders at this meeting.

2/22. Frank Elkins came home today his wife Linda picked him up at the Franklin County Rehab and nothing as good as the comfort of home. At first their little dog Annabelle didn’t know who was coming in with a cane to help get around. But it didn’t take long for her to warm up to him as he was away for 23 days.

2/23.. Maggie has been painting some new barn quilts which she has enjoyed making. She also has been helping Me at the United Methodist Church organize the clothes that had been saved for the May 5, rummage sale. We had saved many many boxes of nice shorts, and tops that came in with the 2017 Fall Rummage.

2/23..Merle and Linda Van Gieson and Me put together 21 booklets for the Annual Church 2017 Reports. Linda Carpenter made all the front and back covers for them. She does a wonderful job for us, and has done them for many years now. We Sincerely Appreciate Your Beautiful work and We Sincerely Thank You!!!

Did anyone of you go in Facebook and notice the picture of a snowball that I had sent in to WCAX Weather station that resembled President Geo. Washington? It was an amazing look-a-like of him. Jamie Buttendorf took the photo for me. ***What’s the difference between a rectal and oral thermometer? The taste.** Hope you all have a nice week folks..looks like it will be a good week for the sugar makers. Our neighbor Connor Walker is a busy body with the help from his family gathering sap, AND school is off until March 7. HIPAM!! MLTA
