News from Montgomery [4.22.18]

Finally some sunshine but still had some cold wind BUT I think it was warming up as the sun gets around this afternoon. ANYHOW I still appreciated the sun. We had a welcome surprise at Church today, Pastor Ed and Judy Sorrell came and joined us. It was a wonderful surprise and they said it was like coming home. They were with us for sixteen wonderful years. Pastor Bonnie and Nord Hovermann and the Sorrells have been friends for years.

Sunday afternoon Ruth Smith came to visit her Mother Gila Domina, while here they raked up the front lawn and once out of breath they sat on the porch and had a drink of punch and chatted awhile before Ruth returned home.

** Quoted ..I hate it when I see an old person and then realize we were in the same class at school.** Age is merely the number of years the world has been enjoying you and me**. As I bring this to a close..the sun is still shining and with the front doors open we get the warmth here in the living room. Just Wonderful!!! To all have a wonderful week..L.T.A.
