6/10.. What a gorgeous afternoon out in the sunshine, here in my house with the doors all open, it is so Cooool, my fleece shirt feels good. Now the trees all with leaves around us keeps us shaded most the afternoon. Do not want to run a heater all summer long..so will wear my fleece if I have too.

6/6.. The Elementary School sent out Special Invitations for an Appreciation Luncheon to people that volunteer to help or donate. On arrival at the School the children were finishing their Spring Concert rehearsal and Thomas St. Onge growing up so fast stopped for a few moments to say Hello and Sandy had not seen him in years. Sandy Bowman and Yours Truly, members of the United Methodist Church were invited to Thanks us for the donation that was sent to purchase a Karaoke machine for the Children; also in attendance were Lois Chauvin and Jean Trautner they are Foster Gandparents ; Jim Townsend comes twice a week with his therapy dog Megan .. the children read to her; Robert and Diane Gendron volunteer in the kitchen and also are cashiers at the games; Ruth Shine has done several art projects with the Children; Lyn Locher helps with holiday projects. The cooks had prepared a delicious turkey luncheon and we were blessed to have small children that knew us come and sit down and eat their lunch with us, Tyler Domina came and sat with me and he used to come to the Post Office in a stroller when I worked there and his grandfather Kenny came to our Church every Sunday and sang in the choir, My neighbor across the street Noah Getty came and ate his lunch with us, Jacob Barnes grandson of Lois Chauvin came and gave his Grammie hugs, the children were all so polite and helpful. After lunch we were invited to stay and watch the Spring Concert rehearsal and it was fantastic!!

6/6. Maggie Elkins had her sisters Joanne Kane, Grace Jones and Susie Ewins come to play 500 and then they enjoyed a delicious lunch that Maggie had put together. She had prepared old fashioned box lunches for each of them. She had her sisters wondering what they were going to have for lunch as there was no smell of anything cooking, Maggie had everything boxed up and in the refrigerator. It sure was a great surprise and so enjoyable. After lunch they continued to play cards and HAVE FUN with a FEW sips of wine.

Michael Domina and Sal were up from Mass. during the week to set up his art work in the Red Barn Studio and will be coming in July to have water-color classes; while here they weeded out the flower gardens around the house to help his Mother Gila Domina, and set out new plants. Looks terrific!!!

6/7.. We had a surprise visit from Richard Faller’s daughters Pearl and Joy from Utah.
