Active Notices

By Lois Lumbra — It has been a nice mild weather this past week and had a sizeable snow storm on Saturday morning. Just what the ski areas need. I enjoyed getting out and shoveling. The temp was nice to be outside. Sonny and I accompanied my brother Bud and Roberta Martin to call on our brother in Berlin, Vt. We got to visit with him and his family, our sister-in-law from New Haven, Vt. and her son Harrison and granddaughter Joan. On our way down we couldn’t help but notice there was more snow down that way. We were on bare ground here in Montgomery, but not anymore.

What side of the ground hog has the most hair? The outside. We believe Shadows=Sun=clouds=cold wintry conditions for another 6 weeks. For as the sun shines on ground hog day, So will the snow swirl in May.

Have a nice week folks.
