By Lois Lumbra — Now really, folks: Does it seem possible that this month has come and gone? “Time flies,” I told a few people that Wednesday night (Oct. 27) when I went to bed. I was 79. Got up the next morning and people were wishing me a happy birthday as I was now 80. Now, those hours flew by. Truth is, I had the best birthday ever, receiving over 100 beautiful cards, each with such special messages that were picked out just for me and with such caring and loving messages. . . a treasured gift from each one of you.
