By Lois Lumbra — Our 2016 Thanksgiving dinners were all fulfilling and hope everyone enjoyed their feast with their family and friends, as we did. It’s such a delicious dinner and the turkey we had was soooo tender and moist. I know locally many had their children home from a far and even arrived home before the storms and returned back safe and sound.

Louise Adams and her little doggie Fiona were up from Westminster, Ma. To visit with her brother Jay Adams of Town, through the holiday week.

Robin Houle and sister Zina (daughters of Vivian Deuso) have returned home after eight days in Liverpool, and Manchester England. The ladies have been saving to go to concerts of Dr. Hook . Robin said it was just wonderful, wonderful and they had a great time. After concerts the band members come to “Meet and Greet” their fans, and Robin got autographs from the Lead Singer Dennis Lacorriere, and Robin even got a hug from him. She said the reason she had the money to spend on this vacation was because she quit smoking. What ever it takes Robin…Good for YOU!!! So glad that you both had a fantastic time. They mainly hung out near the hotel that they stayed at, as it was in the Center of the city.

Sandy and Kerry Fleckenstein and June and Mike Abramowitz played host for Thanksgiving to their niece Sarah SanGiovanni and Dan from Melbourne, Australia , here studying at Clark University in Worcester, Ma. It was a fun time !!! Also Marlene Stewart and George Hambleton in the presence of their children were united in marriage on Thanksgiving Day with Lynda Cluba officiating the ceremony.

Congratulations to Elinor Purrier in all her achievements that were in last week’s County Courier. We are all very proud of this young lady, she is the daughter of Charles and Annie Purrier.
