By Lois Lumbra — 2/12/17. The storm came in right on schedule with the weatherman predictions. It is now a little after 3 p.m. and it is intensifying as I come on line to finish this column. I have my shovel handy for Monday morning. Just hope it’s not the heavy-heavy snow. If it is I will have to go slow. I had a phone call from Lynda Cluba this week and it was nice hearing from her as she has been away to spend some time with her family in S.C. Welcome home Lynda!!
Thanks to the 26 donors that came out to support our blood drive on 2/5 at St. Isidore’s Parish Hall. Our next drive is scheduled for April 9, starting at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and walk-ins are always welcomed.

Why did the banana go out with a prune? Because it couldn’t find a date. Marriage is like a deck of cards. In the beginning you need two hearts and a diamond. By the end you wish you had a club and a spade.
This is all for this time folks. Please share you news with me… at email@example.com (L.T.A.)
