By Lois Lumbra — What a fabulous Sunday for a change, nice sunshine, and a warm breeze. I just love it. Penny invited me for a ride with her and we went up West Hill over the hills down into West Enosburg and called on my brother Bud and wife Roberta Martin. We had a nice visit outside in the sunshine and warm breeze. On our way back home once back on West Hill, we decided to go across the West Hill Covered Bridge, it was so beautiful, the bridge looks like it had dark varnish on it. Once on Hill West Road we saw a deer in the road. It was truly a great, and enjoyable afternoon.

MAY 27-JUNE 3.. Connie McFarland has returned home after going on a Champlain Tour from Burlington with her two daughters Nancy Benson, Jane and hubby Joe Sanpetrino. They flew in to San Antonio, Texas, where they stayed for three days and visited many beautiful sights. They took a train from there to New Orleans which was a 15 hour ride, but very scenic and enjoyable. There we stayed a few days and enjoyed the many stores and enjoyed great food before flying back home. These tours are very well organized and everyone has a great time.
