WHEW!!! It’s a bit hot today but the breeze is terrific. It’s been a wonderful Sunday. Got off to a good start this morning, been to Church, we had one person being baptized and two wanting to reaffirm their faith by being submerged in Trout River along with the baptism, then everyone wishing to stay for pot-luck and to congratulate our newest baptized lady and then to celebrate our Pastor’s Birthday. (Baptized was Pauline Domina, reaffirming their faith by baptizing was Sally Newton and Judy Sorrell. Congratulations and God Bless!!)
8/14, The Snider Family Reunion was held at Brookside Campground in Enosburg; hosted by Doug and Wanda Snider. There were 117 plus relatives that came and enjoyed the day, each bringing pot-luck to share. Doug was head chef at the grill. For dessert, strawberry sundae’s were made. It was a gorgeous day for a reunion for everyone to be involved with visiting and catching up on family they haven’t seen in a year. Coming the farthest was Pierre and Ginger Desautel from Pennsylvania, the eldest was Barbara Tidd, the youngest was Summer Lundborg, daughter of Erica Snider and Michael Lundborg. Everyone had a wonderful day participating in the tea cup auction, 50/50 raffle, horse shoe and other games. Next year the reunion will be held the 2nd Saturday of August.
