By Lois Lumbra — I thought I would change the name of my column as I do not have much news, but will include it if something changes. I like the idea of getting messages from local people but they want to remain Anonymous and that is okay. This is the last Sunday of January and it is going out like a lamb it is just so beautiful with the blue skies and gorgeous sunshine. Penny stopped by for a few minutes but was on her way to take Bella out to play in the snow and get some fresh air. I will go out after I get this written…
Lois Corse Lumbra
Lois was born in 1941, growing up in Fletcher, Vermont, where she attended a one-room school for her first 8 years. Lois later married Francis “Sonny” Lumbra in 1959 and raised a happy family.
The two started out in Montgomery on North Hill at the dairy farm where Sonny was born, moving to their home in the village in 1965 where they both live to this day.
