Final Tax Payments Due Nov. 14th!

Tax Bills are due in full November 14th by 4:00pm. Payment(s) received after the final 4pm deadline (11/14/25) will be assessed penalty and interest fees. No exceptions.

• Pay in person at our offices, located at 86 Mountain Rd, we are open until 4:00pm on the final deadline. View our office hours for the week of November 10th-14th HERE. Or mail a check to our PO Box 356 Montgomery Ctr VT 05471, please plan your mail accordingly to ensure your check arrives on time, we do NOT accept postmarks or postdated checks.
• Pay online using a Credit Card or the “E-Check” feature. Click HERE to go to our payment portal. *Credit Card fees apply, 2.65% / E-check fee is a flat $1.50 fee*. Must have U.S. bank account with a 9-digit routing number to use the electronic check option.
• Submit payment for taxes using our Town Office Drop-box mounted to the left of the front entrance to our office building located at 86 Mountain Rd. The drop-box is checked at 4pm sharp on the deadline. Payments received via the drop-box after the 4pm deadline will be considered delinquent and assessed penalty/interest.

The penalty (8%) is a one time fee and the 1% interest fee is assessed monthly.

Please note our offices will be closed Tuesday 11/11/25 in observance of Veterans Day. If you need to submit a tax or water payment while the office is closed please utilize our outdoor Office-Drop box- located to the left of the main entrance to the building.
