To accommodate recent changes to the position of web administrator, and to more easily involve the town office staff in keeping the municipal website vibrant and informative, all email update subscriptions have shifted to a ‘digest’ model.

  • All current subscribers are now set to receive up to one update email per day. If new notices, agendas, minutes, community news, pages, or posts were added to the website within the past 24 hours, you’ll receive a single email listing those updates.
  • To be clear: You’re still set to receive all the information you’ve come to expect in your inbox. No further action is required on your part.

Switch to weekly updates

In the event you’d like to reduce the amount of email sent to your inbox, you may want to explore switching to weekly email updates. If new information was added to the website in the past 7 days, you’ll receive a single email on Saturday afternoons listing those updates.

Visit the Email Updates page and click the “Receive updates once per week” toggle. Then, enter your existing email in the form and click the “Signup for Weekly Updates” button. Your subscription will be updated automatically, though this process could take as long as 24 hours.

Questions

Thanks, everyone, for working through this change.

After nearly 10 years, Montgomery has built what is now a searchable online database of nearly 2,000 public records. As a result of this change we’re confident the municipal website will only get more vibrant and informative in the years to come.

Please contact municipal clerk Liz Reighley with questions. Town office staff will be coordinating closely to make this transition as smooth as possible.
