  • WATER ALERT: Shut off dates/hydrant work

    WATER UPDATE:

    Hydrant Replacements/Water Repair ongoing in Center

    Wednesday 8/13– Hydrant Replacement down by the Rec Center should be complete today, this will mainly affect folks from the end of main street down to the rec center- the majority of Main Street will likely not be impacted today. Please note the water may not be shut off the entire time between the 10a-4p time period however we want users to continue to be aware that water usage will be off /or intermittent during most of the designated time period while the work is conducted.

    {Village water users will not be affected by this work}

  • Permit Notice

    A decision has been issued by the Zoning Administrator for the following permits on 8-7-25 for Locher & Hurtubise

The Montgomery Selectboard will hold two (2) public hearings regarding a petition to vote, by Australian ballot, on articles to amend the Town Charter. The meetings will take place at Town Hall, 57 Main St, on the following dates/times:

Thursday February 27th, 2025 @ 6:00pm

Thursday March 6th, 2025 @ 6:00pm

An official copy of the full text of the Proposal is on file and available for public inspection at the Clerk’s Office at 86 Mountain Road, Montgomery Center, VT. Copies will be made available upon request. The Clerk’s Office is open Monday-Wednesday, from 9:00a.m.-3:30p.m., Thursday from 9:00a.m.-2: 30p.m, and Friday from 9:00a.m.-2: 00p.m |
