Homeowner Resources
Recognizing a Low or Dry Water Supply: If your well or spring is beginning to go dry, you may notice a drop in water pressure, air bubbles in your water, or cloudy / sediment-filled water. For information on the health impacts of a dry well and to find short- or long-term solutions visit the Health Department’s Drought and Your Well web page or call 802-489-7339.

- Private Well Drought Reports submitted to Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) by the public.
- Public Drinking Water Drought Reports submitted to Department of Environmental Conservation by the Vermont public water systems. Note: public water systems are not required to submit water use restriction reports to the DEC. The map may not represent all water systems with water use restrictions in place.
- Condition Monitoring Observer Reports submitted by the public to the National Drought Mitigation Center.
