Job Announcement: Assistant Clerk /Assistant Treasurer

Nature of position: The Assistant Clerk shall be under the direction of the Clerk & Treasurer, who shall delegate the Assistant duties and responsibilities, and said assistant shall be entitled and adhere to all personnel rules and regulations.  This person will assist in the maintenance of official municipal records, issuance of various licenses and official documents, administration of election activities, and collection/data entry of various municipal funds. This person shall perform other related clerical work as required or requested by the Municipal Clerk and the Municipal Treasurer or, if applicable, Selectboard members.

This is a part time position regularly scheduled 20 hours per week {up to 24 during Election weeks} during office hours. Compensation commensurate with experience with rate of pay set by the Selectboard.
