    Road Crew Alert: Montgomery folks! Please be aware that the garage is currently experiencing issues with some of the trucks- therefore you may experience some delays with the plowing schedule. While all roads are currently plowed and up to date as of today (1/3/25) please have patience and bear with them over the next few days as they work to resolve these issues as quickly as possible so they can get back to their normal routes.

Request for Bids: Montgomery Longley Bridge Road Bank Stabilization – TAP TA19(2) & STP MM23(2)

The Town of Montgomery is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for: excavation, slope armoring with streambed material, live staking, and other slope repair related items. The project shall be completed on or before November 15, 2023. (Certain fill shall be removed before November 1, 2023.) The Invitation to Bid can be obtained here:

Obtaining Plans

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: DuBois & King, Inc., 6 Green Tree Drive, South Burlington, VT 05403, Contact: Brian Bresland PE at 802-878-7661 or bbresland@dubois-king.com. Bidding Documents may be obtained via one of the following methods:

  1. Via Download Electronic Copy: Download Bid Documents as a pdf at www.dubois-king.com/projects-bidding-active for $50.00. Plans are nonrefundable and non-returnable.
  2. If Hard Copies are wanted: Please contact the Issuing Office Contact identified above to discuss the details of this method for a cost of $50.00 plus applicable mailing and shipping, if needed. Plans are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Bids Due By

Bids shall be delivered to the Montgomery Town Offices, 86 Mountain Rd (Route 242), Montgomery, VT 05471 no later than Monday, May 15, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. (or mailed and received by 5:00 PM on May 15, 2023). Proposals submitted later than this date and time will not be opened and will be rejected.
