    Hydrant Replacements/Water Repair ongoing in Center

    Wednesday 8/13– Hydrant Replacement down by the Rec Center should be complete today, this will mainly affect folks from the end of main street down to the rec center- the majority of Main Street will likely not be impacted today. Please note the water may not be shut off the entire time between the 10a-4p time period however we want users to continue to be aware that water usage will be off /or intermittent during most of the designated time period while the work is conducted.

Request for Bids: Montgomery Longley Bridge Road Bank Stabilization – TAP TA19(2) & STP MM23(2)

The Town of Montgomery is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for: excavation, slope armoring with streambed material, live staking, and other slope repair related items. The project shall be completed on or before November 15, 2023. (Certain fill shall be removed before November 1, 2023.) The Invitation to Bid can be obtained here:

  2. If Hard Copies are wanted: Please contact the Issuing Office Contact identified above to discuss the details of this method for a cost of $50.00 plus applicable mailing and shipping, if needed. Plans are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Bids Due By

Bids shall be delivered to the Montgomery Town Offices, 86 Mountain Rd (Route 242), Montgomery, VT 05471 no later than Monday, May 15, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. (or mailed and received by 5:00 PM on May 15, 2023). Proposals submitted later than this date and time will not be opened and will be rejected.
