Energy Efficiency Window-Insulating Inserts Available

The Northwest Regional Planning Commission is offering residents in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties the opportunity to get affordable, insulating window inserts for their homes while providing free inserts to low-income families in the region.

  1. Fill out the form to express interest in getting window dressings.
  2. A volunteer will come measure your windows and give you the exact cost for your window dressings (typical cost is around $44/window).
  3. A volunteer work day will be scheduled in October/November at the Enosburg Opera House to build the window dressings—no building experience necessary.
  4. Use your window dressings for the next ten years or more to lower your heating costs!
