  • WATER ALERT: Shut off dates/hydrant work

    Hydrant Replacements/Water Repair ongoing in Center:

    Tuesday 8/12 Update– Hydrant Replacements are continuing down main street in the Center area by the post office/River Street areas and then moving down by the Rec Center. Please note the water may not be shut off the entire time between the time period of 10a-4pm however we want users to continue to be aware that water usage will be off /or intermittent during most of the designated time period while the work is conducted.

    (Center Water Users Only) the Town Water Department will need to shut water off from 10am-4pm on the following dates for: HYDRANT REPLACEMENTS & Water line repairs:

    Thursday 8/7

    Friday 8/8

    Monday 8/11

    Tuesday 8/12

    {Village water users will not be affected by this work}

Tax time is here! 2023-2024 Bills for the fiscal year have been issued by the Town of Montgomery. The final due date is Friday November 10th 2023. The bill is broken down into two installments for folks who wish to pay two payments instead of one lump sum. If you have not received your tax bill by August 1st please contact our offices to request another copy and confirm that your mailing address is up to date. Learn how to reach us HERE

Tax payments received after 4:00pm on November 10th will be delinquent and will be handled by the Collector of Delinquent Taxes. 8% Penalty and 1% interest fees will apply to outstanding balances. 1% interest accrues monthly for any remaining delinquency thereafter.

Please note: Friday November 10th 2023 our office hours will be extended 9:00a-4:00p that day.
